VERY IMPORTANT USE EASY TO UNDERSTAND WORDING, NO FANCY WORDS ALLOWED, KEEP VERY STRAIGHTFORWORD AND DON’T USE FILLERS WORDS.

Only use the source that I’m providing , no other sources are allowed and no citation as you are to rewrite with your own words the entire provided “ methods” portion.
The outline you goanna write with your own words after you rewrite the methods.

Please read this first: background for your information I am currently writing a study paper about pedestrians texting behavior while crossing street with ( introduction, methods, results, discussion and abstract.
This assignment is for the “ Methods” part  of the research study paper that i am working on. So you will ONLY do the Methods and after a “ outline following the directions below:

Part 1 Completely rewrite the attached “ Method” material ( below) . keep to  1 page, the same length to the material, it cannot have any plagiarism, keep same info but with different words.

The material for Part #1 to be rewritten” Method”. keep the numbers as well as will be changed later on , also please when rewriting, change all the “we” because I am doing this paper and including data collection alone :

“Method:
 Participants/Procedure
Participants were individuals on the college campus in the location data was collected.
We gathered data from a total of 58 individuals. Data was collected was collected by a single researcher . We sat at tables near the traffic intersection and observed for an hour and a half, on a Thursday afternoon. The traffic intersection was a two-way street, with a traffic light, and a button to press when individuals wanted to cross. Using a chi-square table, we observed participants who were texting, making a phone call or on their phone for other reasons. Being on a cell phone would range from texting, making phone calls or using social media. Additionally, if one was more focused on their phone than the environment, it would be noted as phone use. If one was not noticeably engaged with their phone it was be reported in the no phone use section. Safe crossing behaviors were defined as looking left and right before going into intersection, waiting and walking into crosswalk when walk sign is on. Risky crossing behaviors were defined as not looking left and right before crossing, walking into others, if they didn’t look up from the phone when crossing and walking into the crosswalk when walk sign is not on. When we distinguished participants involved in noticeable phone use, we watched their crossing behaviors and either marked risky or safe behavior. When we collated our data, we used one person to write data and the other to observe participants.”

Part 2” You are to write a Outline with only “ procedure” part ( I already wrote the other components of my outline) so again You are to finish the part one above then based on what you wrote ( rewrote) you are to use the format bellown( not the information from the example below, ONLY THE FORMAT ! THEN USE THE  INFORMATION FROM METHODS TO WRITE THE “ PROCEDURE ONLY PART O THE OUTLINE.

format example for part #2: keep the same length
as the example below and use bullet points as well.

“ Outline
  Procedure
·      Data were collected by observation
·      Pedestrians who used their mobile devices to text or engage in a phone conversation were current participants. Pedestrians not engaged in the current use of their cell phones were recorded but not analyzed. Pedestrians engaged in their cell phones and carefully looked both ways, or stopped if others were present before crossing into traffic were analyzed in the category of “safe” crossing behavior. Those who did not carefully look both ways, or crossed during the “do not walk” sign categorized as “high-risk” crossing behavior. It was hypothesized that crossing behaviors are dependent on cell phone use. More specifically, it was hypothesized that pedestrians who engage in cell phone use while walking would be significantly more likely to exhibit high-risk crossing behavior than individuals who did not engage in cell phone use while walking.
·      Data was collected alone
·      Data was collected at an automobile traffic intersection
·      The observation lasted for an hour
·      10 am to 11 am “
