Consider how social work administrators might apply their leadership skills to become advocates for their organization incorporating strategies designed to eliminate oppressive structural barriers to ensure that social goods, rights, and responsibilities are distributed equitably and that civil, political, environmental, economic, social, and cultural human rights are protected. For this assignment, apply those skills by addressing state legislators to advocate for resources for your agency. Make sure your paper is appropriate for the audience you are addressing.
Be sure to include the following in your white paper: Describe your agency, the populations served, and the employees’ demographics. Explain what resources are necessary to continue the work in your agency or organization. Be specific and provide examples if appropriate.
