The Health Care Management student to intern at HCA Florida Capital Hospital.
Expectations of the Intern:

Student will rotate in various departments of the hospital then select one area to complete a project-based internship

Value to intern: The intern will learn about the complex healthcare environment, how to ensure that hospitals are always accreditation ready, how to perform employee and patient satisfaction rounds (rounding with purpose), how multiple departments work together and how all are aligned to ensure that we are carrying out our hospital mission. Introduction to service line development, leadership development, strategic planning, and understanding how to balance healthcare as a business while providing compassionate care to ill and/or injured members of our community.
