In this assessment, you will collect five data visualization products from academic sources and evaluate them. The visualizations can be from academic journal articles, .gov websites, or .org websites. Some places to start looking include https://www.madd.org, https://www.cdc.gov/, and https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/.
You will collect these visualizations and then create using the PowerPoint Template to evaluate the visualizations. Use the following format:
Slide 1: Title Slide
Slide 2: Intro Slide
Slides 3–7:
Main slide — just the visualization. There should be no commentary on the slide itself.
Notes section, slides 3–7:
In-text APA citation for the visualization.
Why did you choose this visualization?
Is it ADA compliant?
What does it tell you about the data that it is portraying?
What method does it use (if you can identify the chart)?
How else could you produce a visualization for this data type?
Slide 7: Summarize with bullet points whether each visualization was an effective visualization of the data, and explain why or why not.
Slide 8: APA full references for each visualization.
Minimum Submission Requirements
