As a critical part of theoretical frameworks, family theory is introduced, and the students will demonstrate the application of family theory.  The students will be assigned a family and apply the basic concepts of family theory, including a family theorist, to the family structure.  The paper must address the structure function according to Friedman’s definition and 
apply a family nursing theory. DO NOT INCLUDE ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER IN PAPER OR PRESENTATION. 
**Paper length: four-five pages (excluding title and reference pages and appendices as needed).
