Every student is responsible for identifying and reading a book of her/his choic

Every student is responsible for identifying and reading a book of her/his choice on the topic of leadership within organizational settings. There is no specific requirement for the book each student chooses other than that the book must be about leadership within organizations. Students will develop a PowerPoint (or equivalent) presentation wherein they provide an extensive review of the book they chose. Students should address the key points of the book, the quality of the book, outline the author’s recommendations, and also provide their thoughts regarding the utility and quality of the recommendations from the book. These presentations will be posted under the appropriate thread on the discussion board for all the class to consume. Whereas there is no “right or wrong” way to present the content, grades will be assigned based on demonstrated effort (thoroughness of the review and evidence of thoughtful consideration of the content) and quality of the presentation (based on visual appeal and skillful presenting of content). Students are granted creative freedom to develop their presentations as they see fit.
