This is an assignment for Art college course taken by a High School Senior. I’ve attached the 2 example essays/papers that were provided by the professor.                                                      Below are all the instructions from the professor.

Assignment: Create an Artwork and Write a Paper: Create a work of art in the media of your choice focusing on a social responsibility theme such as the environment, human rights, equality issues, social justice, the COVID-19 response, etc. You need not consider yourself an artist to successfully complete this project, and this assignment should not intimidate you, even if you don’t usually create art. The purpose of this assignment is that you experience the creative process. It is not important whether your work is a masterpiece—only that you complete it and apply what you have learned in your assignments. You will engage in the creative process and demonstrate your awareness of the physical and intellectual demands of the arts. 
Deliverables: These are the items that you will need to submit. Each person in the group will submit the following items. Please combine these two items into one single PDF document.
•  Photograph or video of your artwork
•  2-page paper with critique
Activity Details:
Perform the following steps:
Step 1: Identify a Socially Responsible topic that you would like to investigate. 
As a group, you will need to gather facts and some research to support your topic. You may include your own opinions on the matter, but I do want to see evidence of research to support your opinions.
Step 2: Decide on a creative project.
You can take a photograph or create a painting, a drawing, a building design, a graphic design, or a sculpture. It must be a type of visual art that the art world would consider as visual fine or graphic arts. This artwork should demonstrate your position on the socially responsible topic in your paper. 
Step 3: Gather the supplies.
Make a list of and then collect the art supplies and equipment that you’ll need to create your project. If you choose to use the photography medium for your artwork you must also clearly and convincingly explain and defend why your photography is fine art and not just a snap shot (not art).
Step 4: Create!
Each person should create their own artwork. Set aside some time to create your project. Try to employ the unifying principles of design, including repetition, variety, rhythm, balance, emphasis, and economy, to create an original work. 
Step 5: Share
You should ask your group to critique your work and to give you feedback as to the level of completion, artistic expression and effectiveness of your message (concept).
Step 6: Prepare your submission with critique
Submit a .pdf of your completed work describing your socially responsible topic with supporting research, a description of your creative process and what was discussed in the collaborative critique of your work, and an image of your artwork on the third page of your .pdf (two pages to write the paper, and the final page has an image of the artwork). You must also mention who you worked with and any important details about the collaborative experience (positive or negative). Please use standard margins, 12 pt font, and no more than double spacing for the format of your submission. If you are including a video of your artwork, please do so as a link via You-Tube in your PDF document. You will research and discuss the assignment with your group. Each person in the group is responsible for writing their own 2-page paper on the topic selected.
