Read the book and make notes as you go. The length requirement is 4-6 pages. If you do not meet the minimum (4 FULL pages) you will only be eligible to receive up to 50% of your grade. You will write a critical book review of ONE of the books. You will give an overview of the book’s total impression and what the author is trying to accomplish by writing the book. Then you will use specific examples from the text to demonstrate whether or not the author has or has not accomplished their goal. Then you will wrap the paper up reflecting on your reaction to the book. The review will examine the book’s content and methodology. Do not give me a book report. I am asking for an analysis of the information presented by the author. I prefer you avoid quotes unless to paraphrase the information will detract from what the author is saying. If you use ANY source other than the actual text itself, then you must provide a Reference Page and in text citations. A Cover Page is required. Make sure to have each page numbered.
