Planning for Testing: Define the purpose of the test. Specify the desired difficulty and discrimination levels of the test items and offer rationale. Determine the scoring procedure(s) that will be used. Determine the arrangement of items on the test and write specific directions for each item format. Write general directions for the test and prepare a cover sheet. Prepare a scoring key and explain how you will prepare students for taking the test. Arrange the test questions using the principles of test construction. Include appropriate directions throughout the test. (Page 180 in textbook has GREAT information to include in a test cover page/sheet.)
Once you have created your test, cover page with general directions, and answer key, copy and paste or upload your test into Microsoft Word (or a PDF). Include a cover page with your name on it. Submit to the 15 Question Test Development Assignment to the Dropbox and copy and paste your test questions with your test blueprint in the Module 2 Q/A Discussion forum to give and receive feedback to and from your peers (2 peers).
Maximum of 125 Points for Test Item Development and posting the test to the Discussion forum and a maximum of 15 points for the Discussion.
