Students will answer the following question in a paper not to exceed 7-8 pages (not
including appendices and references):
What is the significance of community college in
today’s higher education landscape?
While there is significant freedom in this paper and presentation, the purpose of this
paper is to demonstrate knowledge and insight on community college through the
integration of a variety of material from the course. Students are free to choose from
any material used in class, but it is required to have your answer be clearly connected
to at least three of the theories or concepts presented in class.
