Programming is a complex activity that involves understanding logic and applying appropriate syntax to accomplish a task or solve a problem. This can be particularly daunting for beginners. It is a good idea to take some time to plan and prepare for this learning experience. There are many who have gone through this learning process and can offer helpful tips and recommendations for a successful learning experience. Although the advice in the posted videos is targeted toward those who are seeking a career in application development, the principles readily apply to those who are learning a programming language for a class. For those of you whose career pursuit is in another area, much of the advice can still apply to learning technical skills in general. The key is to develop some learning strategies that help you make the most out of the time you spend learning.
