URGENT NOTE: YOU WILL DO THIS AS INDIVIDUAL, NOT AS GROUP.
To work in groups this semester, we need to establish some group rules of conduct in a “group charter” document, as well as set the schedule regarding who will lead the submission of group work assignments due each week.
PREP: Revisit Group Introductions
Double-check you’ve read the intro posts from each of your groupmates. Because some people post earlier and some added the class later, take a minute to confirm who is in your group and what they posted about themselves. This is your chance to ask the things that become awkward the longer you wait, like:  “how should I pronounce your name? wow, what is it like working in the [RPAC, Cancer Center, library] at OSU or outside of OSU and how are you holding up? wait, are you the Smith/Chaudhari/etc. my cousin dated in high school?”
1. Share your group document
Click on the “Group charter and weekly leadership assignment” link below to download a Word document for you to complete. Use the discussion board to decide who will lead this setup work; leading for this week includes sharing the document with all group members on a collaborative platform like Google Docs. As each of you accesses the document shared by this week’s leader, add your name to the header as a participant to indicate you have checked in.

2. Create a group charter
In order for each of us to learn and share in a supportive group environment, it’s important to have a set of shared rules that govern how we interact. (Especially online.) As a group, use the discussion board, or a group communication platform of the group’s choice, to decide on answers to the highlighted portions of the charter and sign off on the end results. NOTE: Check out the grading rubric below to plan how you can get full marks for this assignment! No header,  signatures, claiming of sections, spell check, etc,…no points!
3. Create a group leader schedule
Please fill in this group leader schedule. Volunteer yourselves (and not others) for at least one week.
Once these steps are done, and before the due date, the weekly leader must upload the completed and signed document here.
