Tell us whom you admire (parent, sports figure, politician, entrepreneur, etc.). Explain why you admire that person and what you would be willing to do to be like them. Be sure to address the following:
Is this a person like you?
Would you tell others to emulate this person?
What are this person’s weaknesses?
Would you eliminate the weaknesses?
What strengths would you replace the weaknesses with?
What would it mean if Albert Camus was correct – life is absurd, having only the meaning each of us gives to it? Explain your answer in the context of a relativistic world where each person lives according to his or her own truth regardless of the truth of others. Be sure to address this question in your response: Can I give any meaning to life if I do not know Truth?
Explain how you believe science helped us or hurt us during the COVID-19 pandemic. Does science always tell the truth? If science is bought and paid for by funders (it is: https://undsci.berkeley.edu/article/who_pays), how can we trust that science finds the truth and not the ‘truth’ it is paid to find? You might want to consider such questions as: 1) What did science tell us about the vaccines (science, NOT the politicians or media)? or 2) What is the ‘truth’ about the origins of the SARS COV2 virus?
